Samsung to Invest in New Memory Chip Production Line

Samsung recently announced it will invest 636.9 billion Won in a new memory chip production line, which will manufacture DRAM and NAND flash memory chips. Mass production at the new plant, which will be established in Hwaseong, Korea, is expected to start in the second half of 2006.
